ESN Jyväskylä proudly invites you to an adventure that takes place around the centre of Jyväskylä - and is rumored to be the most memorable party of your whole student life!
WHERE and WHEN?
Wednesday 25th of September at 17:00. We start in front of the Campus Field next to the L building (Liikunta/Sports building) and U2, on Seminaarinmäki campus. After this you will move around the center of the city and the closest campus areas.
The afterparty will be held in bar Bra. The doors of Bra open at 22:00.
Entrance to the afterparty is 2 €.
WHAT?
Freshmen party is a very traditional Finnish way of welcoming new students to town! It’s a fun tour during which you go around Jyväskylä in teams and take part in several funny tasks at different cross points. Teams will be scored based on their performance on the tasks and general team spirit. The best team will get a prize at the after party. We will divide the teams at the beginning of the race, and each team will get group leaders, a score sheet and a map. The score sheets of each group must be returned to ESNers waiting for you at Kompassi. From Kompassi, your adventure continues to the after party at Bra.
DRESS CODE
Overalls if you have them! Since you'll be strolling around the city in the lovely, Finnish autumn weather, make sure to keep yourself warm with enough clothing.
Pro tip: Don't wear your Sunday bests, they might get dirty.
WHAT TO BRING:
BYOB (Bring your own bottles if you want to drink). Please note that you will be running around the city for several hours, so prepare yourself with snacks and beverages to keep yourself fueled!
Pro tip: Bribing (giving gifts/compliments/favors to) your cross point holders might score you some extra points!!
