Welcome to the traditional Finnish student party, Sitsit! But what exactly is a Sitsit?

A Sitsfest (also called sitsit, sitning, or sitsparty) is a cherished Nordic academic tradition—an evening of food, drinks, and lively songs celebrating the joys of life. This unique experience blends fun and etiquette, making it a cornerstone of Finnish student culture.

At a Sitsfest, you'll not only enjoy delicious food and drinks but also sing along to traditional songs. The event follows a specific set of rules led by two or more toastmasters who guide the evening and enforce playful "punishments" for those who stray from the etiquette!

Each *Sitsit* has a theme, and this time, it’s a Welcome to Finland event! We invite you to dress up in something that represents your home country—be it traditional clothing, a symbolic item, or a creative outfit.

-WHEN: 28th of January. Doors open at 18:00, and the event starts promptly at 18:30. Don't be late, or you may face some Sitsfest "punishments!"

Dress Code:
Wear something that represents your country! Overalls are allowed, but make sure your outfit connects to the theme.
