ESN Jyväskylä proudly invites you to an adventure tour that goes all around Jyväskylä - and is rumored to be the most memorable party of your whole student life!
WHAT?
Freshman party is a very traditional finnish way of welcoming new students to town! It’s a fun tour in which you go around Jyväskylä in teams, taking part in several fun&crazy tasks at different cross points. Teams will be scored based on their performance on the tasks and general team spirit. The best team will win a prize at the after party. We will divide the teams at the beginning of the race, and each team will get group leaders and a map.
WHEN?
Wednesday 21st of September at 17:30. Sharp!!!!
WHERE?
Kick start in front of the L-building (Liikunta) on Seminaarinmäki campus. After this around the city and campus areas.

THEME: “Try to FINNISH it” (=anything Finland-related really)
DRESSCODE
What comes to your mind when hearing the word “FINLAND”? What is a typical FINNISH person like? It can be anything from stereotypes to famous Finnish people or animals or inventions. Crazy outfits will score points!
Quick tip: Don't wear your Sunday bests, they might get dirty. Also remember to dress according to weather cause we will spent hours outside!
WHAT TO BRING:
BYOB (Bring your own bottle). Please note that you will be running around the city for several hours, prepare yourself with snacks and beverages to keep yourself fueled!
Pro tip: By bribing (giving gifts/compliments/favors to) your group leaders and cross point holders you might get some extra points!!
